I am in America!

Hello! My name is Nozomu Kawashima. I am freshman of Aoyama gakuin University. I major in International Politics.
This is first time to come to America. I would like to communicate with American people, and brush up my English skill. The flight from Japan to America was tiring. It took about 12 hours.
After the long trip, I arrived in America! First time, I talked with Joe who is mentor. It was very interesting! Next, I talked with Mike. He is very tall! And He majors in Japanese. I think that he can speak Japanese fluently. On the bus, I talked with Nikki.I realized how difficult to speak in English! But I want to talk with mentors more and more!

I'm so glad you are here! Please feel free to practice your English with me whenever you want. We are going to have a great two weeks!

Welcome to America, Nozomu! You got a good start practicing your English by talking with all three of our mentors. I know you are going to avail yourself of every possible opportunity to practice, which is great. I am sure you already know a lot of English, and this is your chance to put it to work!

Nice to meet you in blog, Nozomu^^

I'm Ai, a member of AGU 2007. How is your impression after arriving in Maryland!?

Please do so~~!!
I think you can certainly brush up your English if you use English many times:D! Anyway, your efforts surely born fruit!

Hi Nozomu:) I am a member of AGU 2007.

I also found it difficult to communicate in English last year. This program should give you great experience.

I am looking forward to reading your blog.

Hello, Nozomu! This is Hiromi.
I'm glad to know that you arrived there safely. :)

Talking with people who speak English is a bit hard at first, and it's natural! How much effort you'll make is the key, I guess! So, please keep trying! :)
